Comfort dulls creativity. Since I first took apart my toys to understand their mechanisms, I learnt that breaking with the established — and even with one's own comfort zone — is the first step to designing solutions with a real purpose.
Technology must adapt to people's emotions, not the other way around. Following Nordic design philosophy, my goal is to create honest objects that improve daily life and foster genuine wellbeing, from childhood to old age.
My work doesn't end when the product leaves the factory. Designing ethically means calculating and accepting the full environmental impact. I apply a holistic lifecycle approach to ensure what I create cares for both the user and the ecosystem they inhabit.
Intuition and empathy dictate the why; engineering guarantees the how. I use analytical rigour and technical precision not as ends in themselves, but as the indispensable tools to materialise viable, safe and robust ideas.
